Dr. Harnoor Bhinder, DVM
“Veterinary medicine is simply put, awesome! After all these years , I still am always learning and improving my ability to help animals. As a practice owner, I can assemble a team that all feel the way I do about our patients and our clients. What better way to spend your life than doing something you love with people who all feel the same way! I think though, the absolutely best part of my profession is that it allows me to make a difference. Whether it is preventative health care to keep animals healthy, helping a new life enter the world, or assisting an old friend to pass with peace and dignity, I get to make a difference every single day. That’s why I do what I do.
Dr. Bhinder grew up in Punjab, and received his DVM from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. He completed VSTEP from the University of Guelph. He previously worked in Toronto, Oshawa, Georgetown and London, before starting practicing at Hespeler Animal Hospital. He is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has also completed Fear Free Certification and looks forward to making Hespeler Animal Hospital a Fear Free Certified practice.
When Dr. Bhinder is not with his patients, he is usually at home cuddling his cat Buddy or enjoying family time. He enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling to the mountains to go hiking. He is a passionate reader and one can find almost all genre in his library.

Selena Bahall
From a young age, I have been captivated by the wonders of the animal kingdom, largely inspired by the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. My journey began with a childhood fascination of dinosaurs. It then evolved through countless hours watching Animal Planet. A goal of mine is to one day have a selfie with a lion, my favourite animal.
In high school, I channeled my love for animals into action by founding a club focused on raising awareness on issues in my country such as strays and the conservation of endangered species. At the age of 14, I knew that working with animals was my calling. Driven by this passion, I made the decision to move to Canada to pursue veterinary medicine. My commitment to animal welfare and my desire to make a tangible impact in the veterinary field continue to guide me every step of the way.
